Eid Toy Drive

Working with SMILE Canada and TNO, One Brotherhood & One Sisterhood will be organizing a drive to provide toys to children and youth with disabilities in Ontario.

In addition, through the help of other local organizations, One Brotherhood and One Sisterhood will also be providing toys to other underprivileged children in the GTA.

The ongoing battle against COVID-19 has created numerous challenges for families across the GTA and the world. Already facing challenging everyday issues financially, food insecurity, health-related concerns, asking these families to balance the new demands of employment, schooling, and acclimating to the new rules has added to their difficulties. Families of children with disabilities have been further impacted as some of these children’s health conditions make them immune-compromised. Staying at home has been their only option throughout this pandemic.

Eid is about excitement, happiness and celebration, and we hope to spread the joy of Eid to these kids. When visiting friends or partaking in festivities at the local mosques will not be available, we want to take Eid to these families’ doorsteps.
